Having a recent upgrade in service from my Internet Provider, I went shopping for a new modem that could handle the increased speeds. (meaning it had to be DOCSIS 2.0 compliant). This modem took awhile longer than I anticipated to configure, with my router. After notifing your IP that you have changed modems, (mine was done entirely online when I connected the new one) you connect to the modem, thru 192.168.100.1, configure, etc. Then sync up with router, etc. I have been more than pleased with the performance. On a 10MBps line my speeds have been anywhere from 9.3 to even 10.3MBps. Upload speed also 90% and more, than the advertised speed. This D-Link modem is small, and light as a feather. I gave it 5stars.. value and performance!

The person above stated my thoughts perfectly.
I am 100% satisfied with this modem.
